Pop the Champagne

Cap off a cozy Valentine’s Day with Sarah’s recipe for a strawberry gin fizz.

Ingredients:
Barr Hill gin 
Champagne or sparkling wine
Sugar
Fresh strawberries 

Directions:
1. Chop 4-5 fresh strawberries into thin slices and add to a bowl 
2.  In the bowl, add a tbsp of sugar and mash the strawberries and sugar together 
3.  Evenly distribute the strawberry mixture into two tumblers  
4.  Add 1 part gin to each glass
5.  Add 2 parts champagne to each glass
6.  Add ice and a strawberry slice to garnish
