Q: What does your power outfit consist of?

Lily: My power outfit is always all about wearing bold accessories—right now that’s chunky gold jewelry and Sarah Flint’s 85mm leopard print Perfect Pumps. Power outfits need to look elevated, so splurging on bold accessories and keeping clothes simple and elegant is always my default.

Jenny: I love all colors but my go to color is black.  If I’m really feeling racy then I might add white or tan.  To me, the most important thing is to ACCESSORIZE, ACCESSORIZE, ACCESSORIZE.  I’ve always worn lots of jewelry-rings, cuffs, earrings, necklaces. I don’t walk the dog without some glam!

Q: What is your favorite type of flower?

Lily: Lilies, of course 😉

Jenny: I love peonies, but I couldn’t name my daughter Peony 🙂

Q: What’s your favorite interior design trend?

Lily: I’ve learned everything about decorating a home from my mom and my favorite part about her aesthetic is her electricisism. Our home is filled with treasures and fine art from all over the world, everything somehow works well together and has a great story to go along with it.

Jenny: I’m happy that the whole notion of being unique and authentic is valued today.  Keeping up with the Jones’ is too tiring. It’s so much more fun to collect what you love and just make it work.

Q: Your favorite home-cooked meal?

Lily: Breakfast is the most important meal in my family. My dad and grandpa always made the most delicious crepes. Some of my best memories are waking up to the smell of them as a little kid.

Jenny: My favorite meal is breakfast.  My second favorite meal is breakfast for dinner.  Whenever my husband went out of town, the kids and I would mutiny and have pancakes for dinner…or maybe waffles.

Q: Best advice you’ve received from your mom.

Lily: My mom has taught me so much about the power of relationships. I’ve always been in awe of her ability to connect and find common-ground with people in any kind of situation, which is what has made her other business over the last 30 years so successful.

Jenny: Marry someone you can count on and that adores and cherishes you!
